Today, students read independently. Absent students should get their absence excused for the bell-ringer to be exempted.

Then, students continued working on their create-your-own dystopian school project. The brainstorming assignment is due tomorrow.

Tomorrow, students will be expected to have a short conversation with Mrs. Evans in class about their dystopian project; today, a post was made to Google Classroom with the template. Students should come to class prepared to have this short conversation with Mrs. Evans tomorrow for a grade.

Then, students continued working on the Create-Your-Own Dystopian Literature Assignment; today’s focus was to make sure to choose the issues and fill out the characteristics section; if time, students may choose to work on the commentary/moral.

3.11 | PSAT and stuff

Freshmen had a PSAT today in the morning; second period has nothing to make up for absence.

8th period had some independent reading time and a book talk assignment. Absent students don’t have anything to make up for this day.

3.10 | A Continuation

Then, students were introduced to the next Dystopian Literature Project, in Google Classroom. We will work on this assignment up until spring break.
